If somebody loves you, you always love them a little in return, even when they're an Alpine Imp.
-Walter Moers The Thirteen and a Half Lives of Captain Bluebear

time is the school in which we all learn

"It’s strange, really, how you can feel someone before you even know who they are.  Because I know in my heart and in my bones a person like the back of my hand and I’m dying to meet him.

The pictures I took with my camera from vacation, my dad has most of the good ones on his phone.

Captions in Order:
1.) The Undercover Eggplant Company was a place we stopped at to eat on the drive from PA to VT.
2.) A "May Peace Prevail on Earth" sign hung outside of Everything Natural in PA.
3.) Me and broseph on the drive.
4.) The Movie Theatre in VT. They were only showing two movies. But it doubled as a restaurant and we ate breakfast there.
5.) The Book Garden in Montpelier, VT.
6.) The main shopping street in Burlington, VT.
7.) The restaurant where we ate in Burlington, I don't remember the name.
8.) The Hostel where we ate breakfast the day before our drive home from VT.

Wait, 'cause there's more.

Becca's Wedding (I wanna say 2004?)

I also found this in a kitchen cabinet. I have no idea why it was there along with the 15,000 thermoses we seem to have.

Treasure Trove

Yes, that is a cactus.
Pride & Prejudice: Mission Accomplished

This may be the only thing I drink out of from now on.

I found it while cleaning out my kitchen. I freaked and immediately proceded to take these pictures to share the joy of a Hedwig and Harry mug.

Thumbelina

So much better than I remembered.
I am going to hollow out a book. I'm a little sad, but not really. I think I'll find one about gardening or mathematics. Then I won't feel so horrible.

"You know what? Fuck beauty contests. Life is one fucking beauty contest after another. You know, school, then college, then work, fuck that. And fuck the air force academy. If I wanna fly, I'll find a way to fly. You do what you love, and fuck the rest." Little Miss Sunshine

I think Than should read this. Because this is exactly what he says every two minutes or so.

I used to think anyone doing anything weird was weird. Now I know that it is the people that call others weird that are weird.
— Paul McCartney

I think maybe I should get tumblr... because really that's what I'm doing here.

“All the books we own, both read and unread, are the fullest expression of self we have at our disposal. … But with each passing year, and with each whimsical purchase, our libraries become more and more able to articulate who we are, whether we read the books or not.”

— Nick Hornby

I'm really confused. I can't wait until I leave this town. I feel like I fucked everything up here.
Maybe I'll do better in the next place.
I was sewn backwards or something. I don't care enough about the people that actually matter, and care way too much about the people who don't matter at all.
Maybe in a new place, where no one knows me, I'll be able to do better. Just be myself from the beginning.
My fingertips are holding on to the cracks in our foundation. And I know that I should let go, but I can't. (Kate Nash)
I can dissect your every word and action. I can twist it all into an insult. My mind does it on impact. I see, I criticize. The thing is I hate it. I know I'm sick. I just need to wait it out. Then when the time comes I can cut and paste everything about you into the back of my mind. Maybe then I'll be able to let go and forget. But until then I'll play make believe.
Cool isn't pretending you don't care. (Uhm, Keds?)
Well cool isn't pretending you do care either.
Cool isn't pretending.

Days like honey, I don't want this to end.

Home

Vacation was fantastic. :D
Warren, Vermont was probably one of the smallest places I've ever been to, but awesome nonetheless. I got my own room! Hah, I felt cool. We went on a serious hike with a breathtaking view at the end. We went to Burlington and Montpelier. I got three new books, two were free, oh snap. We met this hiker/motorcycle rider/old (awesome) guy named Dave. He was probably one of the cutest old guys I've ever laid eyes on. That guy from session being number one, I'd have to say. I had a lot of pancakes. And a lot of fun. I sort of didn't want to leave. But I missed my bed.

Day at the Mall with Kayla

I don't even know what to call what's on my head, I'm sure it would look good on the right person, just not me, but Kayla is modeling the "Good One Minnie" look. She's high-fashion. Hahaha

I'm ridiculously excited.

Day Trippin: The Grounds for Sculpture

I took so many, it was so hard to choose. Haha

The Day of Pretty Much Nothing (This was on Monday.)

Than built.... something out of popsicle sticks. (He's adorable.)
And I cut up an old sweatshirt (well actually Mel and I took it from Mill Pond School's lost and found, and then, on Monday, I cut it up.)

Insomnia

So it's once again one of the nights where I can't sleep at all! Great.
Thanks to Megan  Mcisaac I have playlists made just for this.
Let's see what fun I can stir up on blogger here.
So I admit I'm really paranoid. But this time I think I've got it right. My heart hurts.

and carve me a mask from the safety of their decks

and make me a dress from their masts
